I spent quite a bit of time searching for my crops, designing my garden bed, ordering my seeds…
Then FINALLY on Monday…….. Mrs. Friendly Postwoman brought me

Yippee!!!
Why am I so excited? This is 1 more step to spring!
On my quest for a simpler life — I don’t mean easier, I mean using what’s available, not having to buy all new, starting from scratch, living from our land (as much as I can on my little piece of world)… by no means is any of this easier, but much more gratifying, making me thankful even more in this economy that I can keep what I do have.
Anyways back to my quest… I found a way to reuse those toilet paper and paper towel cardboard rolls for my plantings !! I have never really found a useful purpose for all of them… until now!

How frugal, eco-friendly, reusing is that?
I didn’t find the link for biodegradable seed-starting pots soon enough… I need 48 toilet paper tubes!! But I am still saving for next year!! So, I brought out my stash of cardboard egg cartons to finish up!
(Those were for another project I found online and stuck in my “Things To Do” bookmark, that I can’t seem to find right now!!) hehehe!

Great idea! I might do this.
