When I started simplifying my life over a year ago, one of the first things I sorted through was
underneath the kitchen sink

Please excuse the mess, but my point is made!
Where does all of that stuff come from?
Why did I have so much of it??????
I vowed to use every bit of it up without buying more. When I ran out of something,
I would replace it with a homemade recipe.
As I searched and researched, I found so many uses for vinegar. Plain old white vinegar. The acetic acid in vinegar kills viruses, germs, bacteria and mold. It also dissolves tough mineral deposits and stains!
Huh!!!
I don’t need all of those fancy, high priced antibacterial cleaners?!?
Then baking soda!!
It’s a great all-purpose, non-toxic cleaner!!
It cleans, deodorizes, scours, polishes and removes stains.
And borax!!!!
It deodorizes, removes stains and boosts the cleaning power of soap.
It also prevents mold and odors. Great alternative for those who do not want to use bleach.
Remember, these ingredients do not need to be brand name!
Clip coupons, shop store brand, but remember — buy U.S.A.!
I still haven’t plowed through all that stuff tucked under the sink. But some things are gone and I’ve replenished with safe, everyday items. And it’s cheap frugal!
The Kitchen Sink is going to be an ongoing project. As I use up, I will make a homemade recipe if needed (many things can be used for different projects, where now I’ve had a cleaner for each and every thing!) and let you all know how it is working out!
Here's the full recipe and printable!
