A Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake. No, I didn’t make it. But you know I dissected it…and it’s on my list.
Mom and I traveled downstate for another one of our fast trips. She was all for it–we were celebrating her 81st birthday!

Victoria Secret–go Grandma Jean!
We also celebrated with my nephew, his wife and his sister (not pictured).

We spent the day doing what we do best–eating, talking, playing cards. No matter how fast the trip is and how little sleep I get, I always come home with a rejuvenated feeling.
A little bit of family history–
Our family has lots of April birthdays–even a couple Easter Sunday birthdays.
It started with Mom’s father, Granddad Harmon. He was born on Easter Sunday (April 10th) in 1898. His given name? E.B.–just E.B. Easter Bunny?
Mom was also born on Easter Sunday–in 1930. Through all of the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren with April birthdays, no one has been born on either of their birthdays or again on Easter Sunday (as far as I can tell from the family history book).
Happy Birthday!!
